How to request a refund

Looking to request a refund? Here's everything you need to know before you get started.

When event organisers list their tickets on Fatsoma, and when you purchase them, both of you agree to our terms and conditions. These state that refund policy is set by the event organiser rather than us, which means our team is not in a position to approve or deny refunds on their behalf. What we can do is help you submit your refund request through your Fatsoma account and point you in the right direction if you get stuck.

How to submit a refund request

You can send a refund request directly to the event organiser through your Fatsoma account. Once submitted, it's over to them to approve or deny it and you'll receive an email as soon as they've responded.

  1. Log into your Fatsoma account

  2. Select the order you want a refund for

  3. Click 'View Order'

  4. Click 'Request Refund'

Please be aware, at the moment, it's not possible to request your refund via the app. Refunds must be made at www.fatsoma.com/orders

A few things worth knowing before you request a refund

Refunds are handled on a per order basis, which means we're unable to refund individual tickets from an order containing multiple tickets. If you'd like a refund you'll need to request one for the full order.

We're also only able to process refunds for tickets purchased directly through Fatsoma. If you bought your tickets elsewhere, please get in touch with whoever you purchased them from.

Can't see the option to request a refund?

If the refund request option isn't showing in your orders, it's because the event organiser has turned off refund requests for that event on our system. This is their decision to make and isn't something we're able to override. If they do not accept refund requests via our system our team cannot help with refund requests.

Can I cancel a refund request?

Once a refund request has been submitted we're unable to cancel it from your end. If you've changed your mind and would like your request to be denied, please get in touch with our support team and we can arrange that for you. Please be aware that once a refund has been denied you won't be able to submit another request for the same order.
